This weekend marks the opening of our “African American Treasures from The Kinsey Collection” exhibit at Mississippi State University, and we couldn’t be more excited to share it with the MSU students and residents of Starkville. Located in the Mitchell Library inside the John Grisham Room, University Dean Frances Coleman allowed us the entire space to display what will be another dynamic and engaging exhibit. We want to thank MSU professor Dr. Stephen Middleton for his vision, Dean Coleman for her leadership, and Stephen Cunetto for his execution.

“African American Treasures from The Kinsey Collection” is our exhibit designed specifically for educational institutions, consisting of over 70 selected historical artifacts and artworks, specifically selected for each location.

The opening weekend is full of events starting on Saturday at 10:00 am, including our “What You Didn’t Learn in High School History with Bernard Kinsey” lecture presentation on Sunday at 3:00 pm in Lee Hall on MSU’s campus.

The exhibit will be on display in Mississippi from March 21st, 2015 – June, 20th, 2015

Special events are scheduled throughout the duration of the exhibit at MSU.
